Kim Kardashian Turns Messiah For A Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murder; Accused To Get Released Next Week
Kim Kardashian might be majorly in the news for all her controversies and antics but one must give the credit where it’s due. The reality TV star is also one big-time philanthropist and leaves no stone unturned in helping others, whenever she gets the opportunity. It was only recently that Kim lobbied for a man named Momolu Stewart, whom she had met while touring the District of Columbia jail in the month of July. Stewart was a 16-year-old when he had committed the crime of killing a man in 1997 and has served for around 22 years in the prison.

Kim also had a long discussion with him to understand if he has changed as a person, post which she agreed to advocate for his early release by writing a letter to the D.C. judge. Now, it turns out that the accused will be released next week, as his life sentence has now reduced from life to time served plus three days, along with five years of probation. Taking to his Instagram account, Momolu Stewart thanked Kim Kardashian for the unconditional help. He shared a picture of him with the makeup mogul and wrote, “Thank you @kimkardashian thanks to the homie Kim for her support in my case freedom is imminent and success is assured.”

In her letter to the judge, Kim had appealed him to foresee Stewart’s life sentence in prison and give him a second chance. “I write to humbly request your compassion and humanity in supporting the release of Momolu Stewart. I have been actively involved in cases across the country and my view, Momolu is especially deserving of your consideration. He has been rehabilitated and is no longer dangerous to society," she wrote, adding, "I also have every confidence that upon his release he will continue to guide others away from a life of crime and continue on his own path to redemption and success,” read an expert from her letter.

That’s one extremely kind deed, Kim!
